Meet Denise, our Director of Planning and one of our talented Wedding Planners! Denise joined the Marryment team in 2023, bringing over seven years of wedding planning experience with her. Denise finds it incredibly fulfilling to help couples bring their wedding day visions to life. She is an expert timeline manager, dedicated to helping couples live in the moment without worrying about the clock. Her favorite part of a wedding is at the end of the night when everyone is dancing, mingling and basking in the joy of the celebration. When she isn’t planning a wedding, you will find her hard at work running her own permanent jewelry business, sipping on coffee and soaking up the sun with her Golden-Doodle, Nala, affectionately known as “Dude”.
Role: Wedding Planner + Director of Relationships (that's a cute way of saying she handles the custom pricing with vendors, our vendor and venue relationships, & exclusive discounts for our couples).
Favorite Part Of A Wedding Day: Personalized elements of the ceremony involving family or cultural traditions. A close second is hearing the couple gush about their day and quickly catch up, usually while Claire bustles a dress or right after their ceremony.
Pre-Wedding Rituals: Peppermint coffee, her wedding morning playlist (louder than her husband would appreciate), & organizing her emergency kit.
Claire Loves: Hosting cookbook club, daytrips to the beach, crafting, hot yoga classes, and spending time with her nephews.
Pathway to Marryment: From pastry chef to dining room manager, and teaching kids cooking classes - Claire has always found herself in some facet of hospitality.

Favorite Part Of A Wedding Day: Room reveals! Kasia loves seeing months of planning come to life and watching the couple's reaction when they first walk into their reception. A close second is a fun surprise outfit change - she's always here for a dramatic second look.
Pre-Wedding Rituals: Reading a few chapters of her current book, packing way too many snacks, and giving her dog a million kisses before heading out the door!
Kasia Loves: Romance books (so cliché), surprising her husband with a new home renovation project every chance she gets (much to his dismay), and spooky season!
Pathway to Marryment: Kasia was actually a Marryment bride, with Denise as her planner! After seeing her incredibly detailed wedding timeline, Denise joked that Laura needed to hire her - and thankfully, she did! Before joining Marryment, Kasia was in corporate events, marketing, and graphic design.

Favorite Part Of A Wedding Day: Reception speeches. It's such a special and intimate moment to hear from the bride and groom's loved ones as they share stories about their love story, wedding day, and favorite memories after working so closely with the couple leading up to the big day. Savannah also loves a good late-night snack for all the guests to enjoy!
Pre-Wedding Rituals: Diet coke and a large french fry, 80s rock playlist to hype herself up, and her lucky wedding day socks!
Savannah Loves: College basketball (Boiler Up!), movie nights with the girls, swimming in the lake on a hot day, and a very dirty martini.
Pathway to Marryment: Savannah has worked in weddings for over ten years, doing everything from venue management, catering sales, photographer assistant - you name it!

Favorite Part Of A Wedding Day: When her couples get to see each other for the first time. (Though Shannon is also a sucker for dancing, so you’ll catch her on the corner of every dance floor - either tearing up during the first dance or busting a move when the dance floor opens.)
Pre-Wedding Rituals: Morning prayer for her couple, dance party with her daughter (you know, to get the vibes up!), and the most unhealthy drive thru meal to fuel her for the day.
Shannon Loves: Escaping into the fantasy world of a good book, taking bike rides with her daughter, perfecting her amateur cake decorating skills, and trying to convince her husband that they need another trip to Disney World.

Meet Alyssa, one of our incredible wedding planners! Alyssa brings over 10 years of experience in hospitality and event planning. Through her background in hospitality and event management, Alyssa has planned and executed a wide range of events, including weddings, mitzvahs, corporate events, social gatherings, and more. Alyssa is known for her ability to connect with clients on a personal level, providing a unique and custom experience for each of her guests that reflects her clients’ goals and expectations, making their BIG day a dream come true! Outside of work, Alyssa is passionate about traveling the world, exploring new restaurants in Chicago, and staying active. She also prioritizes quality time with family and friends, valuing community and connection in both her professional and personal life. Alyssa is passionate about bringing peace and joy to all aspects of her life, especially for her brides!
